Camping Village, The British Open
Experience the Magic of The Open at Royal Troon Golf Club
Join us from July 14th to 21st as we host our renowned Camping Village event at the prestigious Royal Troon Golf Club during the British Open. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome 3,000 campers for eight unforgettable days and nights of golf, camaraderie, and entertainment.
The Old Course at Royal Troon, a jewel in the crown of golf since 1923, has witnessed historic moments such as Bobby Locke’s valiant defense in 1950, Tom Watson’s thrilling victory in 1982, and Henrik Stenson’s stunning performance in 2016. This summer, new tales of triumph await as the world’s finest golfers vie for the esteemed title of Champion Golfer of the Year.
A Legacy of Excellence
The R&A British Open Camping Village, established in 2016, now hosts over 10,000 people during the week of the British Open each July. Our clubhouse tipi, built around the hundreds of tents provided by the R&A, includes our bar, the only one onsite. We use traditional wooden bars with up to 16 taps to meet the huge demand, serving brands like Guinness, Tennents, Magners, Menabrea, and local brews such as St Andrews Brewing Company Lager and IPA in 2022 and Love Lane Lager and IPA in 2023.
Our offerings include a full range of spirits, wines, bottled beers, soft drinks, and snacks, all sold at reasonable prices to make the British Open more affordable.
Our Journey
Our first event was in 2018 in Carnoustie, where we provided bar services for the entire event, from the Sunday before practice days to the final Sunday. This tremendous event paved the way for future success. In 2022, we were invited back for the 150th anniversary of The Open in St Andrews, where we expanded our team and introduced a second bar to service the beer garden.
The following year, we ventured outside Scotland to Hoylake near Liverpool, securing all necessary licensing to serve. Our team traveled and stayed the week to provide the consistent, professional service we are known for. This event was another great success, and we now eagerly anticipate serving at the 152nd British Open at Royal Troon.

Dundee Football Club Beer, Gin & Music Festival
This is the 5th Festival that Bespoke Bar have organised for Dundee Football Club and this year we have installed 10 bars at the stadium with 12 local draught beers along with gins, flavoured vodkas, cocktails and wines. We also booked and organised 5 live bands and a DJ set to play throughout the day and a local food vendor to feed our hungry festival goers.
